  does anyone here have any suggestions on handling financial abuse of a senior by the watchtower bible and tract society?

  mom gave a lot of money to the watchtower bible and tract society over her lifetime- (6 figures).

  after she ran low on funds she made a 5 figure "conditional loan" to wtb&ts.

  It's all about preceptions and pretenses, when your family is preceived as (indentured servants to the Organization) faithfully sound, all is well in the world. Once all your hard work and slaving for the Society breaks your family, you are preceived as a failure, and your qualifications are called in to be reviewed. Brother D. worked four days out of town every week, 'D' kept his position as "elder" for twenty three years, while working three to four days out of the area. Why?

  Brother D. finally lost his position when his child commited adultry for the fifth time, Brother D's Scriptural qualifications were finally called into question, he was removed for the wrong reasons, and twenty years too late!

  Just once I would love to see, " the brothers close the gate, before the sheep leave the farm".

  @BillytheEx Billy's post should be read by newbies, quick replies to individuals wanting to boost congregational averages to the National Average! "Hell No, I read about Daniel and Sarah!" great post Billy!

  Hi Balaam'sA, some time has pasted, where you been?

  1. You need to conduct your local "Elder Abuse" agency, this will get things moving and add some thinking humans along side you.

  2. Call the Police, if you have not done that, make a report, even if they blow you off, there is a record of making a report.

  3. Your local District Attorney's Office coudl provide you with some insights, another angle you have not thought of.

  4. Did you contact some legal help, either paid or firms working pro-bono?

  5. State Attorney General's office and contact your B.B.B.

  Is there a "Mandatory Arbitration Clause" your Mother signed? If you are not geting any money from the Organization, you said the loan was forgiven, you have no choice but th hire legal help. No choice is provided from what you told us.

  Post the documents online (Blacking out your name, Mom's name, address,phone...... and show everyone the fangs behind the Viper) Just and idea, you can ponder exposing them through this manner.

  Did I mention, call "Elder Abuse" and tell them everything you told us! I wish you success, the Society has the money, why are they holding onto this money at 0 percent? They are not going to make anything off her donation (Interest Wise), they should give the money back to their "Sheep", who needs help now!

  Marvin, who is paying to treat all these individuals with mental problems? The payout in the United States for licensed psychologist and psychiatrist is nothing, many are leaving their fields to work for State or Federal run facilitites. California, New Mexico, Florida, and our friends in the South, do not have ready access to mental health doctors. Logic would dictate, only JWs with means, are being able to receive more than the "one time evaluations" provided by State Medicaid services. How can the poorer JWs be evaluated, if only those with means are counted?

  As for this mob, their are still some who think mental illness is treatable by prayer or caused by demons! You know how far back into the cellars, they tuck emotional problems, "Just wait on Jehovah, you will feel better after a prayer" another qoute "Get out into the Field Service, It will take your mind off your problems!"

  Hey Ladies, "Willful Non Support" Is Not Bad If You Serve The Slave!

  brother dillweed is a "stay at home elder", his wife works sixty hours a week, so brother dillweed can better help the congregation.

  when questioned why she allows her husband to stay at home, her face turns red, and anger boils through her veins "jehovah is using him!

  Everyone has their favorite story of "Willful Non Support", I will relate part of mine, without divulging too much information. Brother Dillweed is a "stay at home elder", his wife works sixty hours a week, so brother dillweed can better help the congregation.

  When questioned why she allows her husband to stay at home, her face turns red, and anger boils through her veins "Jehovah is using him! I am his helper, pushing him forward!"

  This goes on for five years, she works and the creditors close in, and bamm! Their car is hauled away by the Repo-man! Her faith in her man is unbreakable, it's Satan's bankers taken advantage of her, it's persection for being so godly!"

  Our mentally diseased sister has never once considered her elder husband to be the reason for her demise. Now as she looks back on her Job trials, she is more convinced she did the right thing, by putting the "Kingdom First" by keeping her elder husband home.

  He would sit around, malingering all day, busy body stuff. He never cleaned the house, his wife's job, cooking, no! She made their kids breakfast, lunch and dinner, washed laundry, his and her cars. She is proud of all she has done for her family and her great example of being a supportive wife!

  Do you a favorite "Willful Non Support Story"? Share your story with all the new young women who might be lurking on JWN now. New sisters and young JWs are getting married and might consider supporting their "Pioneer Husband" a praiseworthy endeavour! The Pioneer husband usually drives around in circles, visiting tanning boothes and gyms, and Starbucks. He is good at watching Netflix, playing video games like Xbox, PlayStation and WIII..... Poor young boys and girls!

  Poor mentally stuck humans, if only they would ponder their bad situation, the Bible would speak to them! The Society tells those who don't have anymore mental-emotional resources, "Just Wait on Jehovah God" maybe this is Jehovah's tool to help free them, from their bondage to lazy mates?

  No more buring through your IRA, 401k or other retirement savings to keep your stay-at-home elder or pioneer in pajamas!

  i came home the other day and found an invitation to the upcoming district convention in my door.

  i don't believe these are left in the doors of the general public, so a well-meaning witness must have been thinking of me, even though i have not been to the kh in about 7 years.. the leading question on the front immediately got my attention, and made my jaw drop a bit.. i thought i would ask the forum, .

  Scenic they were scattered in my home town, this was a blanket effort to break up the monotony of field service. I was attending meetings and received two in my door!

  One of the first chinks in my "body armor" sold by the watchtower, was watching three known drunks and drug addict on the District Assembly Drama. How could Jehovah allow "double living witnesses" to present this holy drama?

  B.O.T.R. sending my well wishes to you, are there situations that cause your pain to flare higher than normal? Do you keep a diary of your pain levels, keeping track what sends you into a 10, or lessen's the affects of your pump? Do you change up medications to trick your system, how long have you been battling this?

  6/15 WT - WT Society can Run it's Business - but JW's Can't Have their Own

  in the typical do as we say , not as we do type mentality - the wt society puts forth in this current wt study article ( jw's only wt ) - that it's not " advisable " or " reasonable " for jehovah's witnesses to seek entering their own business ventures , or further themselves by getting a college education, or even have a career - due to the imminent coming of the alleged " end of the system " or alleged " paradise " .

  the guilt and control used here is ridiculous.

  in the article titled , " why put jehovah's service first ?
